The “Together for Prosperity in Fuzhou: 2023 Global Investment Promotion Conference” was held in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province on May 17, which was followed by the Sixth 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Exposition and the 25th Cross-Straits Fair for Economy and Trade on May 18. Chen Jian’an, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended the conference and delivered a speech.

Chen Jian’an stated that China has constantly strengthened its advantages in introducing investments, including a vast market, a complete industrial system, abundant human resources, and a continuously optimized business environment, all of which generate greater motivation among foreign companies looking to invest in China. In recent years, the Maritime Silk Road Exposition has produced fruitful results in promoting Belt and Road cooperation, helping improve the business environment, and attracting investment. The CCPIT will build more platforms and provide better services to help business communities in various countries seize market, investment, and growth opportunities.

The Maritime Silk Road Exposition was co-sponsored by the CCPIT, theTaiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and the People’s Government of Fujian Province. With 19 exhibition areas, the exposition featured nearly 30 economic and trade exchange events.
