On September 1st, the Forum of Global Exhibition 2022 was held in Beijing, and Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended its opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Zhang Shenfeng said that the exhibition industry, as a vital component of modern services industry, plays an important role in driving economic growth, promoting opening-up and cooperation, increasing jobs and advancing urban development. The world is facing drastic changes and the pandemic, all unseen in a century, global industrial and supply chains are restructuring, and the world economy and trade are experiencing profound changes. Under the circumstances, the exhibition industry needs to undertake its new mission to pursue new development, and remain committed to win-win cooperation, innovation-driven development and green development, so as to achieve high-quality development and make great contributions to promoting world economic recovery and building an open world economy.

Hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, People's Government of Zhejiang Province and Global Alliance for Trade in Services, and with the theme of "Global Exhibition—Create New Blueprint, Share New Opportunities", the forum was joined by more than 200 people including representatives from relevant national ministries and commissions, domestic and foreign business associations and chambers of commerce, exhibition companies and other enterprises, as well as experts and scholars in the exhibition circle.
