On September 25th, the sixth China-Japan-Korea Industries Expo kicked off in Weifang, Shandong Province. CCPIT Vice Chairman Ke Liangdong, Vice Governor of Shandong Province Ren Airong and Secretary of CPC Weifang Municipal Committee Hui Xin'an attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Former Prime Minister of Japan Yukio Hatoyama, Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat Hisashi Michigami and Okura Shigenobu, Vice President of the Japanese Association for the Promotion of International Trade made remarks with videos.
Vice Chairman Ke Liangdong said, China, Japan and South Korea are complementary economically with close economic and trade ties. In the context of global economic downturn, global market shrinking, rising deglobalization and protectionism, trade between China and Japan and trade between China and South Korea remain stable. Japanese-invested and Korean-invested enterprises in China have fully resumed work and production, and capacity is on a steady recovery. Business community from all three countries continue to share a strong willingness to cooperate, showing flexibility and great potential of the economic and trade cooperation between China, Japan and South Korea. The CCPIT, China Chamber of International Commerce are ready to work with all sides, build better platforms, provide better services and bring more convenience to facilitate trade and investment for enterprises. Greater contribution is expected to be made to the high-quality export oriented economic development of Shandong Province and a brighter future for the China-Japan-Korea economic and trade cooperation in the new era.
The expo is co-hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce, the Japanese Association for the Promotion of International Trade, Korea International Trade Association and the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat.
