CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng held talks with Vice Governor of Qinghai Province Yang Fengchun

CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng held talks with the visiting Vice Governor of Qinghai Province Yang fengchun on July 16. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on various issues, including supporting Qinghai to organize 2020 Qinghai Eco-industrial Expo and Tibetan Carpet Exhibition as well as the first China (Qinghai) International Eco-industry Expo in 2021, and serving enterprises in Qinghai who participate in the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.   

Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng said that CCPIT would continue to support Qinghai to hold distinctive exhibitions and activities, publicize Qinghai's advantages in business environment and ecological environment, and promote the development of Qinghai's export-oriented economy. He hoped that enterprises in Qinghai will make the best of preferential policies under the free trade agreement, strive to enhance their international competitiveness, make full use of various trade and investment promotion platforms set up by CCPIT and actively participate in implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative so as to explore the international market.

Vice Governor Yang Fengchun said that in recent years, CCPIT had given full support to several exhibitions in Qinghai and helped Qinghai to train foreign economic and trade professionals.It was hoped that CCPIT could give full play to its resource advantages of domestic and foreign member enterprises and business associations, and work together with Qinghai to organize national exhibitions which could reflect Qinghai's advantages and characteristics, including the international Eco-industry Expo. Qinghai would actively organize enterprises to participate in various important foreign trade and economic activities held by CCPIT.

Relevant Officials from CCPIT General Office, Department of Development and Research, Department of International Relations, Department of Trade and Investment Promotion and China Chamber of International Commerce were also in attendance.
