Government-Enterprises Online Dialogue on Improving the Business Environment of Sichuan Province, hosted by CCPIT and organized by CCPIT Sichuan Council, was held in Sichuan on June 11. Chen Jian’an, CCPIT Vice Chairman, and Li Yunze, Vice Governor of Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, attended the event and delivered speeches.
Chen Jian’an said that the fundamentals of China’s long-term economic growth have not changed and our business environment will continue to improve. There are still many opportunities for foreign-funded enterprises in China. CCPIT will provide more platforms for dialogue between government and enterprises, reflect the problems and demands of enterprises, and continuously optimize the business environment.
The dialogue was held through both online and offline meetings. Nearly 200 participants were in attendance, who are from 7 embassies and consulates in China, including the Consulate General of Germany and Austria in Chengdu, 11 business chambers and associations in China, including the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, U.S.-China Business Council and China-British Business Council, nearly 50 foreign-funded enterprises as well as some CCPIT sub-councils.
Based on their own needs, the foreign-funded enterprises asked questions about Sichuan’s policies on industrial planning, health care and environmental protection. Representatives from Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Health Commission of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Provincial Healthcare Security Administration, Department of Ecological and Environment of Sichuan Province responded to those questions.
