CCPIT established a comprehensive legal aid platform for enterprises’ cross-border trade and investment (hereinafter referred to as the "legal aid platform") and set up a legal aid hotline on February 5 to deal with the adverse effect of the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) on China's enterprises in carrying out cross-border trade and investment. During the coronavirus outbreak, enterprises can contact this platform through telephone, email, etc. to obtain relevant legal support.
The legal aid platform is dedicated to answering legal questions from enterprises, including legal issues caused by the NCP, trade remedy cases, compliance risk assessment for international operations, protection of overseas intellectual property rights, foreign-related arbitration and mediation services, export control, antitrust investigation, national security review, economic sanctions, protection of overseas interests, etc.
This platform is one of the important measures adopted by CCPIT to implement the decisions and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council to prevent and control the NCP and to provide convenient services for enterprises. By integrating its system resources and relying on overseas legal advisers, CCPIT Legal Advisory Committee on Trade Frictions and Bilateral and Multilateral Commercial Law Cooperation Committee, CCPIT has rallied experts on trade and investment laws to set up the legal aid platform to respond promptly, accurately and efficiently to enterprises’ consultations and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
The opening hour of the platform: 9: 00-11: 30 and 13: 00-17: 00 every workday; hotline: 010-88075529, 010-88075547, 010-88075549; email: firstname.lastname@example.org; contact person: Xu Wenchao, CCPIT Department of Legal Affairs, 13521369903; Chen Huaisheng, CCPIT Department of Legal Affairs, 13811422004.
