The 16th China Expo Forum for International Cooperation (CEFCO 2020) was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on January 9. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of CCPIT; Yang Jinbai, Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region; Zhu Guangyao, deputy inspector of Department of Trade in Services and Commercial Services of Ministry of Commerce of the PRC; Mary Larkin, President of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI); Senthil Gopinath, Chief Executive Officer of International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and other Chinese and foreign guests attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
Zhang Shenfeng said, “In 2019, the number of China's exhibitions has increased steadily, with rapid growth in scale and continuous improvement in quality. In the future, China's exhibition industry must adhere to the new development philosophy, expand international exchanges and cooperation, accelerate the application of new technologies, build a team of high-quality professionals, and further promote high-quality development.”
Themed "Free to Exhibit", the forum included three plenary sessions and 11 panel discussions. More than 800 delegates from exhibition industry enterprises, industry organizations and government departments of 20 countries and regions, including China, the United States, France, and Germany, were in attendance.
