The 7th China-Korea-Japan Business Summit welcome banquet co-hosted by CCPIT and the People’s Government of Sichuan Province was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on December 23. CCPIT Chairperson Gao Yan attended the banquet and delivered a speech.
Gao Yan said, “This year marks the 20th anniversary of China-Japan-ROK cooperation and the 10th anniversary of the China-Korea-Japan Business Summit. Over the past 10 years, the summit has become increasingly influential. It is now an institutional platform for promoting China-ROK-Japan economic and trade cooperation, and an effective platform for business communities of the three sides to make suggestions to their governments.”
“I hope that participants of this summit can engage in free, open and in-depth exchanges to contribute to the deepening of China-ROK-Japan economic and trade cooperation. CCPIT is willing to work together with our counterparts in the ROK and Japan to build more economic and trade platforms and provide more high-quality services to make greater contributions to the upgrading of China-ROK-Japan economic and trade cooperation and to achieving mutual benefits and win-win results at a higher level,” she added.
Yin Li, Governor of Sichuan Province, Wang Fengchao, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, Sohn Kyung-Shik, Chairman of the Korea Employers Federation, Nobuyuki Koga, Chairman of the Board of Councilors of the Japan Business Federation and more than 300 participants from the political and business circles of China, Japan, and ROK attended the welcome banquet. Officials from CCPIT Department of Development Research, Department of International Relations, CCOIC Department of Cooperation and Development were also in attendance.
