CCPIT Chairperson Gao Yan met with Park Yong-maan, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), and Nobuyuki Koga, Chairman of the Board of Councilors of the Japan Business Federation in Chengdu on December 24. The three sides exchanged views on deepening inter-organizational cooperation and promoting China-Japan-South Korea economic and trade relations.
Gao Yan said, “After 10 years of development, China-Korea-Japan Business Summit has become an important platform for exchanges and cooperation among business communities of the three countries. I would like to express my gratitude for the support of our counterparts in Japan and South Korea to this summit. The Seventh China- Korea-Japan Business Summit Joint Statement to be released in this summit will show the common wishes of the business communities of the three sides and highlight the key areas of business cooperation in the future. CCPIT is willing to work with the two organizations to promote trilateral and multilateral cooperation among Chinese, Japanese, and South Korean enterprises and achieve more pragmatic results.”
Park Yong-maan and Nobuyuki Koga expressed their gratitude to CCPIT for its efforts in holding this summit. “We will further strengthen the exchanges and cooperation among our three institutions, jointly oppose trade protectionism, safeguard free trade, and promote cooperation among enterprises of the three sides in technological innovation, environment protection and healthcare so as to contribute more to China-Japan-South Korea economic and trade relations.”
Officials from CCPIT Department of International Relations and Sichuan Sub-council were in attendance.
