CCPIT Vice Chairman Chen Jian’an met with Peter K N Lam, Chairman of Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in Hong Kong on November 20.
Chen Jian’an said, the trend of economic integration between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong has not changed. The continuous development of Belt and Road and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are providing new opportunities for Hong Kong.
“CCPIT will utilize the resources of the national trade promotion system, cooperate with HKTDC in information communication and institutionalization cooperation, and support mutually beneficial cooperation between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong enterprises, especially in the joint development of the Belt and Road and the third-party market,” added Chen.
Peter K N Lam said, Hong Kong is an important channel for the Chinese mainland enterprises to participate in the Belt and Road construction. HKTDC will utilize Hong Kong’s unique advantages in talent and capital, to promote the cooperation in strengthening industrial chain and jointly developing the third- party market in Southeast Asia, achieving mutual benefit.
