China-CEEC Business Council Chinese Committee 2019 Meeting was held in Beijing on November 21. Gao Yan, Chairperson of CCPIT, Hu Xiaolian, Governor of the Export-Import Bank of China, Huo Yuzhen, Special Representative of Cooperation between China-CEEC with Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Huang Ping, Chairman of Executive Council of 17 + 1 Think Tank Exchange and Cooperation Network of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Suo Peng, inspector of the European Department of MOFCOM attended and addressed the meeting.
Gao Yan said, the sustained development of China’s open economy will bring the strong impetus into the economic and trade cooperation between China and CEEC.
“I hope the Chinese Committee could lead more enterprises to participate in China-CEEC cooperation, expand the new space of 17 + 1 economic and trade cooperation, and play the role of “Track II” to jointly safeguard the multilateral trading system. CCPIT and CCOIC will provide support and create conditions for better economic and trade cooperation between China and CEEC,” added Gao.
Hu Xiaolian said, since the establishment of the Chinese Committee three years ago, fruitful achievements has been made.
“Facing the unprecedented changes in the world in a century, member enterprises should make more efforts to deepen cooperation in infrastructure and production capacity, develop green economy, expand trade cooperation, assort the new system with the old one, promote current cooperation, enhance the influence of the Chinese Council in the 17 + 1 cooperation, and boost the China-CEEC cooperation into a new level in the new era,” added Hu.
Expert Committee of China-CEEC Business Council Chinese Committee was established during the meeting. The two topics of “Economic and Trade Cooperation and Business Environment in CEEC” and “New Opportunities for Cooperation in CEEC” were interpreted and discussed.
