Recently, a reporter learned from China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) that as a member of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd China International Import Expo (CIIE), CCPIT will actively assist exhibitors in solving problems concerning customs clearance, intellectual property rights and the construction of exhibition pavilions and booths, and will hold seven sideline events covering a wide range of topics to provide exchange and cooperation platforms for Chinese and foreign businesses.
CCPIT said it will set up ATA work stations in Shanghai Pudong International Airport and other places to facilitate customs clearance of exhibits and assist China International Import Expo Bureau in providing intellectual property services. In addition, it will build exhibition pavilions and stands for Uruguay, Zambia, Tanzania and other countries and regions.
During the 2nd CIIE, CCPIT will hold Forum on Expanding Import and Trade Facilitation in the New Era, Forum on Exporting to China 2019, 2nd CIIE Forum on Legal Affairs, Digital Engineering Certification Service Trade Conference, Forum on International Cooperation in Agriculture and Food, World Mergers and Acquisitions Conference, and Belt and Road Forum on Ecological Agriculture and Food Safety focusing on trade facilitation, commercial laws, trade in services and investment to provide exchange platforms for Chinese and foreign enterprises to conduct pragmatic cooperation. 2600 participants are expected to attend the aforementioned events.
The 2nd CIIE will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.
