China-Turkey Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum kicked off

Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhang Shenfeng, Ruhsar Pekcan, Turkish Trade Minister, Nail Olpak, President of the Foreign Economic Relations Board, Li Chenggang, Chinese Assistant Commerce Minister, and Deng Li, Chinese Ambassador to Turkey, attended and addressed the China-Turkey Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum (Forum) in Izmir, Turkey on September 6.

Zhang Shenfeng said, China and Turkey are highly complementary in economy and enjoy bright prospects for economy and trade cooperation.

“The business community of the two countries suggests strengthening exchanges, tap the potentials of bilateral trade and increase investment cooperation. CCPIT is ready to work with its Turkish counterpart to make greater contribution to the development of bilateral economy and trade relations,” added Zhang.

Ruhsar Pekcan said, China-Turkey cooperation is conducive to the economic development of both the two countries and the world.

“I hope the trade between the two sides will be more balanced in the future. The Turkish Ministry of Trade welcomes and supports more Chinese enterprises to invest in Turkey,” added Ruhsar.

More than 200 representatives from the business communities of China and Turkey participated in the forum.
