The 9th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo (Expo) and the 2019 China (Guizhou) Inland Opening-up Pilot Zone Investment and Trade Fair kicked off on September 9th in Guiyang. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), attended and addressed the opening ceremony.
Zhang Shenfeng said, Guizhou has opened itself increasingly deeper and wider, and set up more opening-up platforms and rapidly improved the level and quality of its opening-up since the State Council of PRC approved the establishment of Guizhou Inland Opening-up Pilot Zone.
“A series of renowned brand events such as the alcoholic beverages expos and the big data expos have become important platforms for Guizhou to carry out economy and trade cooperation with other countries across the world, playing an irreplaceable role in boosting Guizhou's open economy. CCPIT will foster its cooperation with Guizhou Province to support the construction of Guizhou Inland Opening-up Pilot Zone and promote broad, multi-level and all-round opening-up,” added Zhang.
Held from September 9th to 12th in Guiyang and themed at “collect world’s fine wines and liquors, and promote investment and trade”, the Expo attracted nearly 20,000 representatives from over 40 countries and regions.
