China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Vice Chairman Zhang Shenfeng met with Gennadiy Chyzhykov, President of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) in Kiev on September 3. The two sides exchanged views on tapping the cooperation potential between enterprises and promoting bilateral trade and investment.
Zhang Shenfeng said, Ukraine is rich in agricultural resources, and has good foundation in industry, thus, it is promising for Chinese enterprises to invest in Ukraine.
“CCPIT has maintained close contacts with UCCI. The two agencies shall cooperate in business group visits, project promotion and economic and trade events, focusing on the high-quality projects, helping enterprises achieve mutual benefits, and contributing to the in-depth development of China-Ukraine economic and trade ties,” added Zhang.
Gennadiy Chyzhykov said, the new Ukrainian government is improving the business environment and welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest in Ukraine. UCCI is willing to cooperate with CCPIT to build more platforms for dialogue and exchanges between enterprises, and boost more cooperation for enterprises.
Also present at the meeting were heads of CCPIT Department of Trade and Investment Promotion.
