Chen Jian’an, Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) attended a dialogue on investing in Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique and Zambia in Changsha, Hunan on June 28.
Chen Jian’an said, having gone through thick and thin together, China and African countries are bound and shared a community of mutual benefits. The four countries such as Ethiopia have developed deep friendship with China, always being good friends of equality and mutual trust and good partners of mutual benefits. In recent years, Africa-China political mutual trust has been increasing, economic and trade cooperation has been steadily improving and industrial investment has been integrating, therefore Africa-China relations have made rapid progress.
“As China's largest trade and investment promotion agency, CCPIT has been committed to promoting Africa-China economic and trade development. We are willing to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with African government departments and chambers and associations, promoting two-way investment, accelerating its industrialization process and contributing to the development of Africa-China comprehensive strategic partnership,” added Chen.
The dialogue is one of the business events under the framework of Partnership for Investment and Growth in Africa，PIGA, which was co-hosted by CCPIT, International Trade Centre (ITC), China-Africa Development Fund and People's Government of Hunan Province.
