Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Zhang Shenfeng met with Jose Manuel Lopez Campos, President of the Confederation of Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Mexico (CONCANACO) in Mexico City on November 21. They signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on cooperation on behalf of their respective organizations and exchanged views on promoting China-Mexico economic and trade development.
Zhang Shenfeng said he hoped the two sides would continue to deepen cooperation with the framework of the cooperation MOU, and build a "bridge" for economic and trade exchanges and project cooperation between Chinese and Mexican industrial and commercial communities, and contribute to deepening the China-Mexico economic and trade cooperation.
Jose added that the two sides shall implement the cooperation agreement as soon as possible and provide more services to Chinese and Mexican companies to facilitate the development of trade and economic relations of the two countries.
During the visit to Mexico, Zhang Shenfeng and his delegation also held work meetings respectively with Lin Ji, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico, and Zou Chuanming, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico. He also attended a symposium of Chinese companies in Mexico and held discussions with representatives of 19 Chinese companies.
