China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone Zhuhai (Hengqin) Service Center was unveiled on November 15. The establishment of this service center gives full play to the advantages of CCPIT resources, which provides service and safeguard for enterprises in Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone in promoting foreign trade and investment, providing commercial & legal services and conducting international exchanges and cooperation.
CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi, Deputy Mayor of Zhuhai Lu Xiaofeng attended the ceremony.
Lu Pengqi noted, the establishment of this service center marks a solid step for implementing China pilot free trade zone. CCPIT will take advantages of their broad links in the business community at home and abroad, their abundant means and platforms in trade and investment promotion and good service in commercial & legal field, actively extending resources to pilot free trade zone, providing full services to enterprises in the pilot free trade zone with relevant parties and helping the development of enterprises around the globe.
“On one hand, the service center will provide consultation service in terms of foreign trade policy, overseas investment and financing for enterprises as they are "going global”. On the other hand, the center will provide enterprises resolutions for international disputes, and assist them in solving international commercial disputes in a proper and efficient way. In addition, it will organize enterprises to participate in the formulation of rules and regulations in international commercial field and safeguard the rights and interests of enterprises,” added Lu.
CCPIT thoroughly carries out pilot free trade zone strategy. At present, it has set up 11 service centers in pilot free trade zones, achieving complete coverage and extending services in trade and investment promotion system and commercial & legal field.
