Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chen Zhou toured South Korea, the UK and Germany Pavilions at 2017 Astana Expo on August 7.
During his tour at South Korea Pavilion, Chen hailed it as one of the most popular pavilions at the expo.
“The novel design and interactive experience have impressed visitors. I hope Chinese and South Korean enterprises can foster trade cooperation by favor of the expo,” added Chen.
Byeon Yong-Seop, director of South Korea Pavilion said he was overwhelmed by the spectacular design of the China Pavilion and the dazzling displays featuring Chinese brilliant culture and folk arts. He believed China has been leading the world in harnessing new energy and hoped the two countries can explore more opportunities for cooperation to achieve mutual benefits in the energy sector.
Ahmed Bashir, director of the UK Pavilion at Astana Expo introduced some cutting-edge technologies on display, such as a unique human sensing system and graphene, a newly-invented new energy material. Chen said the UK Pavilion boasts extraordinary design featuring the only pavilion of foreign countries that contains Chinese inscriptions. The displays are under the theme of “Past, Present and Future”, coinciding with that in China Pavilion. Chen and Ahmed agreed to further joint research and cooperation in the use of new energy.
Chen Zhou also spoke highly of the state-of-the-art technologies in new energy at Germany Pavilion, saying that these technologies are good references for China to advance its exploitation of new energy.
