China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) awarded certificates for 15 government lawyers in Beijing on August 1. The 15 lawyers are CCPIT’s first batch of government lawyers. Meanwhile, a plan for setting up CCPIT’s government lawyer system was also issued.
According to CCPIT Vice Chairman Lu Pengqi, it is based on the legal requirements that CCPIT has set up its own group of government lawyers. Lu noted, the criteria for selecting the lawyers is quite strict. They must show their talents and professionalism in handling legal affairs related to CCPIT.
Lu urged all CCPIT departments to foster trainings for legal professionals and provide favorable work conditions for government lawyers.
