The reception, jointly hosted by CCPIT, China Flower Association and Municipal Government of Beijing, promoted the world’s largest horticultural event in Beijing and invited countries in the South Pacific region to participate.

“China attaches great importance to the cooperation with countries in the South Pacific in the fields of tourism, trade and infrastructure construction. The two sides have great development potentials since the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative was advocated. The horticultural event will provide opportunities for bilateral exchanges and cooperation in horticultural and trade sectors. We hope countries in the South Pacific, such as Fiji can participate in the exhibition. CCPIT is willing to work with trade promotion agencies in the region to encourage companies to visit the show,” said Wang Jinzhen, CCPIT Vice Chairman.

Meanwhile, Wang Jinzhen also paid visits to Fiji Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in Suva.
