Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Wang Jinzhen invited Australia China Business Council to organize Australian enterprises and trade promotion agencies to participate in the International Horticultural Exhibition, Beijing (Expo 2019 Beijing).
Wang Jinzhen made the invitation as he was visiting Australia China Business Council (ACBC) in Canberra on July 25.
“I hope CCPIT and ACBC can foster cooperation to jointly promote bilateral trade and two-way investment, build up more service platforms for enterprises of both countries to boost Sino-Australian ties,” said Wang.
Helen Sawczak, National CEO of ACBC said, the investment for Australian companies in China has been facilitated thanks to Chinese market access to and loosened regulation for foreign direct investment (FDI).
“ACBC is expecting to collaborate with CCPIT to encourage Australian enterprises to participate in Expo 2019 Beijing to enhance bilateral trade,” added Helen.
Meanwhile, Wang Jinzhen also visited Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.
Michael Clifton, Austrade’s Executive Director, International Operations said, Australia is expecting to participate in the Expo 2019 Beijing to promote technological cooperation, trade, people-to-people exchanges between Australia and China. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Water Resources will be in charge of Australia’s participation in the international horticultural event.
The International Horticultural Exhibition, Beijing will be held from April 29 to October 7, 2019.
