The press briefing for the 14th China-ASEAN Expo & the 14th China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit was held in Beijing on July 10.
CCPIT Vice Chairman Yin Zonghua briefed the preparation of the two business functions. Deputy Minister of Commerce of China Qian Keming and Deputy Governor of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Zhang Xiaoqin were in attendance.
“The 14th China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit is scheduled from September 12 to 15 in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Themed at ‘Jointly Constructing 21st Century Maritime Silk Road; Tourism Promoting Regional Economic Integration’, the summit will include a roundtable dialogue for Chinese and Brunei enterprises, China-ASEAN business leaders forum, a forum for eastern ASEAN growth region, a cooperative seminar for China-ASEAN commercial law, as well as online and offline activities for China-ASEAN cross border e-commerce, which will foster China-ASEAN cooperation along the ‘Belt and Road’,” said Yin Zonghua.
Meanwhile, alongside the press briefing, the Chinese organizing committee meeting for the two business functions was also held in Beijing on July 11, in which detailed plans for preparing business match-making meetings, trade and investment promotion fairs as well as government-enterprise dialogues between Chinese and ASEAN companies were discussed.
