The 6th World Business Leaders (Kunshan) Conference kicked off in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province on May 17. CCPIT Vice Chairman Zhang Wei attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Also in attendance were Fang Aiqing, Vice Minister of Commerce of China, Yi Xiaozhun, Deputy Director-General of WTO, Long Guoqiang, Vice-President of Development Research Center of China’s State Council, Richard Brodhead, President of Duke University, Tony H.S. Su, President of DuPont Asia-Pacific, and Wang Shi, Chairman of China Vanke.
Themed at “Innovation and Development under Global Transformation”, the conference forms an important section of China Import Expo 2017. The conference offered a platform for exchanges and cooperation among business leaders at home and abroad.

Zhang Wei noted, this year’s meeting focused on challenges, innovation and development of the world economy. The 500-plus participants discussed innovation, industrial transformation and upgrading, intelligent manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, as well as opportunities and challenges that world economy has encountered. It is significant for participants to further exchanges through the conference.
